Kidzania- an interactive city for kids

On a recent holiday trip to London, we took our 5-year old to Kidzania, an interactive kid-sized city where children explore grown-up life through role-playing and get paid for performing different jobs (from policemen, to doctor, firefighter or window-cleaning, etc).

Kids get paid in kidZos - Kidzania´s very own currency- and get exposed to the idea of managing their own money, as they choose to spend or save their money for later.

It was a great family day out- and a real eye-opening experience for our daughter to start understanding how people earn money, why some jobs pay more than others, and the trade-offs involved in spending money now or saving it for later.

I highly recommended it for anyone that can make the trip to London or one of the more than 17 locations around the world.
